This is one of the cooler things I’ve had the opportunity to see recently – this model of the starship Enterprise (NCC-1701-A) was outfitted with a motor and some control rudders and seems to glide beautifully through the water when put into a pool. The video was made by Yokosuka Dry Docks, who – if you’ve seen the video before – has been very busy taking models and toys of popular sci-fi ships and outfitting them for underwater motion.

Case in point, there’s also a video of the Enterprise (USS-1701-D) floating through the water as well, and even an encounter between the Millennium Falcon and the USS Voyager!
