I’ve seen a lot of awesome alarm clocks, but the Moshi takes the cake in a number of ways. The Moshi is voice activated, and responds to 12 voice commands that you say aloud to it. Moshi knows you’re speaking to it when you call out “Hello, Moshi!” and asks you for the command you’d like to perform.
If you want to set the alarm, you don’t have to press and hold two buttons here and then spin a dial on the other side of the clock until it clicks just the right number of times to get to the time you want. You just say “Hello Moshi,” and when Moshi responds, say “Set time.” Moshi will ask you the time, and you just say it aloud. That’s it! The same applies if you want to set the alarm, choose some ambient noise to fall asleep to, set a sound to wake you up, and more. You can also set Moshi to display in different colors depending on the color you’d like the clock to glow when you turn off the lights.
That’s the beauty of Moshi – all of its main commands can be completed by speaking to it aloud, you don’t have to press buttons, remember key combinations, or hold buttons down just the right way to make things happen. If you really like the idea, Moshi also has a smaller travel version, and you can buy them both directly from Moshi Lifestyle.
I’m going to contact Moshi to see if they’ll let me test drive one of these puppies and see if it really makes the mornings as easy as I think it will be. If I snag it I’ll make sure to do a full hands-on review!
