While Zannah is going to point out that her tips for taking pictures of small things have specifically to do with her impressive Pinky:St collection, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that her tips can be more broadly applied to a number of things and just about every type of macro shot you might try to take.

Then again, many of her tips, like how important it is to pay attention to the way your shot is framed and what’s in the background of your shot, are important tips for any kind of photo, whether it’s a landscape, a portrait, or a close-up. The holidays are here, and there will be plenty of photos of both big and small things. Zannah’s tips are written with the amateur photographer in mind, so dive in and learn something!

If you dig the post, leave a little comment love at her post and let her know how valuable you found the advice.

And no joke, her Pinky:St collection is fantastic.
