PC Magazine’s Top 100 Blogs of 2007

pcmag top blogs Earlier this week, PC Magazine has announced it’s 2007 top 100 blogs, and a number of great ones made the list.

Gears and Widgets sadly can’t contend with the top 100, partially because I freelance for the fine folks at PC Magazine, but also because the top 100 blogs are really really great and definitely worth reading. Some of my own personal faves made it onto the list (partially because of my own nominations and thankfully I was able to write their blurbs) like my good friend’s blog Letters from a Tapehead, Shacknews, Aurgasm, Lifehacker, Neatorama, Pogue’s Posts, Treehugger, TV In Japan, and more.

All of the blogs that made the top 100 list are fabulous, and I had the opportunity to describe some of them, but all of them are worth bookmarking and reading if you’re desperate for quality reading material on the web. The ones above are just a sample of the great content there and just some of my favorites, but definitely head over and check out the list.

That being said, Gears and Widgets is happily mentioned in the “Our Blogs” section! Hmm. A healthy dose of Apple fanboyism, eh? I like to consider myself a little more rational than a fanboy, but I guess I can’t argue with that! And yes, they’re absolutely right – lots of caffeine, little sleep. Except on the weekends, then I’m out for like 12-14 hours at a time. Ah, the life!

Thanks guys, and congrats to all of the winners!
